Our story

Carexcell was established in 2005 to provide quality aged care services to older First Nations people living on the Mid-North Coast. In 2008 Carexcell was awarded Community Aged Care Package licenses and over the coming two years they were brought online, providing high quality care to older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the Coffs Coast.

Over the coming years Carexcell matured and as our experience grew we started to support more and more people. We became known for supporting people from all walks of life. In 2016 Carexcell was funded to support people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness and started providing Department of Veterans Affairs Home Care.

Fast forward to 2020 Carexcell was providing support to older people all throughout the Mid-North Coast and our funding sources had again grown to include more State and locally funded programs.

Never standing still, 2023 saw Carexcell expand services into Sydney, the Hunter and New England regions.

Throughout the company’s growth and evolution our values and purpose have remained our backbone. By remaining true to our values we have not only grown to support more people we have continued to improve the quality of our care and services.
